Welcome to Aqua Glaze,
a professional window cleaning, roof cleaning, gutter maintenance, pressure washing, and exterior cleaning company serving Telford and surrounding areas.
By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure a clear, professional, and fair approach to our work while allowing us to maintain an efficient and reliable service for all customers.
General Terms & Conditions (Applies to All Services)
Cleaning Frequency & Minimum Service Commitment
We offer regular window cleaning schedules of 4-weekly or 8-weekly services.
A minimum of 3 cleans is required when signing up for our service. If a customer cancels before completing three cleans, the remaining balance will still be charged.
We do not offer one-off window cleans.
Property Access & Appointment Scheduling
We send out notifications the evening before your clean, allowing time to ensure access is available (e.g., unlocking gates or garages).
If we cannot safely access your property, we may be unable to complete the clean. In these cases, the full service charge may still apply.
For safety reasons, we do not climb over fences, gates, or obstacles to gain entry.
We do not offer set appointment times, but we can provide an estimated timeframe upon request.
Payment Policy
Payments must be made within 3 days of service completion.
We prefer online card payments via our website as this allows for better tracking of payments.
We also accept bank transfer and cash; however, cheques are not accepted.
Failure to pay on time may result in termination of future services and blacklisting on industry networks, warning other professionals.
If a substantial balance remains unpaid, we may pursue legal action via small claims court, and a County Court Judgment (CCJ) may be issued.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Access Fees
Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Short-notice cancellations (on the day or the day before) create gaps in our schedule that cannot be filled. Therefore, if this happens twice in a row, it will be considered a breach of service, and a £15 cancellation fee will be applied.
Poor cancellation reasons (e.g., "we just cut the grass" or "our dog isn't feeling well") may result in termination of service.
No-Access Charges
If we arrive but cannot access your property, a 50% cancellation fee may be charged.
If you are not home when we arrive for a large job (e.g., roof cleaning, gutter cleaning), the deposit will be retained, and a new booking will be required.
Service-Specific Terms & Conditions
Window Cleaning
We use a hot purified water-fed pole system, delivering streak-free and spot-free results.
Windows will be cleaned even if left open, which may result in minor water ingress. While we may attempt to close open windows with our pole, we are not liable for any water entering the property.
Frames, sills, and doors are included in our standard window cleaning service.
Skylights, Velux windows, and conservatory roofs may require an additional charge.
If a customer is unhappy with their clean, we must be notified within 24 hours, and we will return for a free re-clean.
Gutter Cleaning
We use a high-powered vacuum system to clear debris from gutters.
We require access to a power supply for our gutter vac system.
We can only clean gutters that are visible from the ground. If gutters are blocked by overhanging tiles or roofing features, we may be unable to clean them.
We do not dismantle gutters or remove downpipes.
Roof Cleaning
We offer roof scraping, pressure washing, and biocide treatments to remove moss, algae, and grime.
Some minor debris may fall during cleaning - we include a full property clean-up afterward.
We are not responsible for loose or dislodged tiles - if your roof is in poor condition, we may refuse service.
A 20% deposit is required for all roof cleaning bookings.
Pressure Washing & Driveway Cleaning
Our high-pressure cleaning system removes dirt, moss, and algae from driveways, patios, and paths.
Some stains (e.g., oil, rust, deep algae) may be permanent and may not be fully removed.
Re-sanding of block paving is not included unless agreed upon in the quote.
Solar Panel Cleaning
We use a pure water system with soft brush cleaning - no harsh chemicals.
Solar panel performance is not guaranteed to improve after cleaning, as efficiency can depend on other external factors.
Access restrictions may prevent us from cleaning some solar panels.
Safety, Conduct & Business Protection
Animal Waste & Property Condition
If your garden has excessive dog mess or hazardous waste, we may:
Charge an extra fee for clearing the area, or
Refuse service entirely if the work environment is unsafe.
Repeat issues with excessive waste may lead to permanent service cancellation.
Behaviour & Abuse Policy
We will not tolerate verbal abuse, threats, or aggressive behavior towards our team.
If this occurs, the service will be immediately terminated, and a cancellation charge will apply.
We reserve the right to refuse future service to any customer displaying inappropriate behavior.
Intellectual Property Notice & Competitor Monitoring
Protecting Our Website Content
All content on the Aqua Glaze website is protected under intellectual property laws.
We monitor our content regularly and use Google reverse search to check for plagiarism.
If we find our content copied elsewhere, we will take action, including:
Filing DMCA takedown requests
Reporting copyright infringement
Seeking legal claims for financial damages
Additionally, Google penalizes duplicate website content, harming SEO rankings for both the original and copied sites.
Competitors are strongly advised not to copy our content - doing so will negatively impact both businesses.
